Eng. R. Valluvan received his B.Sc. Eng degree specializing in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with first class honours in 2007 from University of Peradeniya and obtained his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering specializing in Telecommunications in 2010 from The University of Texas at Dallas, USA. He received a ECE Graduate Fellowship from University of California, Irvine in 2010. He was a graduate research assistant at University of California, Irvine, USA from 2011 to 2013. He is now attached to the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Jaffna as a Lecturer. He is also the coordinator for the National Incubation Centre – University of Jaffna. His interests are in Machine Learning, IoT, Smart System, Innovation and Technology Management. He has co-authored several publications in national and international forums. He is also, a co-inventor in a granted national patent and a published PCT.
