IEEE Women in Engineering - IEEE Student Branch, University of Jaffna

IEEE Women in Engineering is one of the largest international professional organizations dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists and inspiring girls around the world to follow their academic interests to a career in engineering. The IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch affinity group of the University of Jaffna is formed on the 9th of June 2021 to empower women in engineering to follow their passion. The specialty of the WIE is the organization where men and women try to empower women in engineering to follow their passion. To follow this aim IEEE WIE SB AG of the University of Jaffna is building with 121 student members, 2 graduate members, and 8. The Inaugural General Meeting of WIE Student Branch Affinity Group is held on the 29th of June 2021 to elect office-bearers.
